brrrr...it's cold!!

WOW! I know i say this every time...but man has it been a LONG time!!
That special time of year has come...yep. that's right. Allison's birthday! I'm the big 1-8 as of yesterday. :)

Everyone's making such a big deal about it...but i don't really see the excitement. I mean, it's just another day. lol

Basketball's going okay. The guys are 6-4, which is not where they want to be, but i feel that if they can't learn to play together...how are they supposed to win? Oh well. <3 em no matter how many games they win.....or in this case, lose.

Can anyone believe how friggin' cold it is? We got out of school today b/c it was at least -25 degrees this morning...It's about as cold as it was yesterday, just yesterday i had taken a shower right before i walked out. after standing in the cold for only a few minutes, my hair was completely stiff... It was FROZEN!! Yes, frozen! I had never experienced that before...it was the weirdest thing in my entire life! haha

so, football is done...but basketball is just beginning!
we have a new coach this year, and i think he's an awesome guy. :)
i cannot wait for the season to begin. we have our first game on wednesday and i think they will kill it!
i can't wait to see what the guys bring to the court. i think they will absolutely BEAST IT this year. haha

only 3 more weeks left in this first semester of my senior year (yay!!)

jennifer is on one of her absolutely ridiculously long breaks and has already been to tennessee and back.

all in all, everythings goin' well.

boy it's been a long time...
well, school's going great, well, as great as school can be.
so far, the only class i've been struggling in has been trigonometry.

as you may already know, i'm the manager of the football team at my school.
i absolutely <3 it!! the boys are amazing & i have become very good friends with all of them. :)
unfortunately, we are a miserable 2-2. we have lost by one touchdown versus southport and lawrence central.

oh well, hopefully they'll get back to being the team that i know they are!

jennifer is doing well in school also. she has decided to not run cross country anymore, just like me.
i guess it runs in the family...lol

& my favorite carmen has finally left for college at BYU. we <3 her & miss her terribly! good luck carmen!!!

YC 2008

Youth Conference was AMAZING!!! we went to the temple to do baptisms. there were some workshops to do also. we learned about family history and family search indexing. we were challenged to do 100 names in 100 days. it seems very easy.

we went to go see the Emma Smith movie the first night. it was really touching. i'd never realized how much she lost. we then went to our host family's house. i ended up staying with the Augers. we went swimming too @ their house. it was fun :)

i'm baaacckk!!

well, i'm back from my trip and it was absolutely AMAZING!!
i had a blast! the site-seeing was awesome & our concerts went fantastic. i'll be sure to place some pics soon. :)

& i went on my first date last night. i kinda have to thank cristina for that one. lol
but we went to see 'kung fu panda'. it was very funny!! & then we went to coldstone for some good ice cream... (nothing can compare to the gellato from italy! lol)
